Everything gets better when you sleep better....Welcome to Deep Rest with Dylan, a completely guided Yoga Nidra Experience.
When everything outside of us is constantly in competition for our attention it becomes easy to distance from the Self. The Self that sits patient and still at our center. The Self that knows, sees, hears and holds us. When we slow down deeply enough we begin to connect to our inner wisdom and intuition that has always been there.
In this practice experience a deep state of conscious relaxation, balance and total peace through various methods and ancient practices like Yin Yoga, Pranayama and of course Yoga Nidra.
Yin Yoga being slower and more meditative helps us work deeper with asanas while holding for longer periods of time. This targets the deepest tissues of the body and helps the system get closer to relaxation. With Pranayama we will move through different layers(koshas) of the body until we gain access to our alpha and theta brainwaves, this is where deep healing and restoration can begin—Yoga Nidra. The practice of Yoga Nidra is completely guided and is the practice of conscious non-sleep whereby closing the eyes and withdrawing the senses, the body is guided out of its usual states of awareness, of thinking, and processing, into deep rest similar to sleep. In the silence and presence of Yoga Nidra you may receive images, insights, or simply a feeling of clarity or calm that guides you toward what you need most.
This is not about fixing or doing anything. It’s about resting to receive more and remembering that beneath the noise and busyness, you are already connected, already enough, already whole.
In this class you will practice.

• slow paced yin/restorative yoga to bring ease into the body
